01/Biography
Jennifer Castle is Titular Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford and a Tutorial Fellow in Economics at Magdalen College. She has been Director of Climate Econometrics at Nuffield College since 2022 and holds an appointment at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. Her research covers model selection, forecasting and climate econometrics. With Michael Clements and David Hendry she co-authored Forecasting: An Essential Introduction.
02/Teaching approach
At graduate level she teaches econometrics summer schools centred on the use of OxMetrics for econometric modelling and forecasting.
