Prof. Badih Ghattas

Badih Ghattas is Professor at Aix-Marseille University, based in the Faculty of Economics and Management and a member of the Aix-Marseille School of Economics. He completed his doctorate at the Université de la Méditerranée in 2000. His work is in statistical and machine learning, covering classification and regression trees, ensemble methods, clustering, variable importance and model interpretability. He applies these methods across a wide range of domains, from electricity load forecasting and design of experiments to medical imaging and clinical prediction.
