IIF Accreditation

We're delighted to announce that our Postgraduate Courses in Applied Econometrics are now certified by the International Institute of Forecasters
This prestigious recognition affirms the academic rigour and real-world relevance of our programme — and places our MSc among a select group of IIF certified programs worldwide.

The International Institute of Forecasters (IIF), is a nonprofit organisation founded in 1982, is dedicated to developing and furthering the generation, distribution, and use of knowledge on forecasting through the following objectives:
Develop and unify forecasting as a multidisciplinary field of research drawing on management, behavioral sciences, social sciences, engineering, and other fields.
Contribute to the professional development of analysts, managers, and policy makers with responsibilities for making and using forecasts in business and government.

What this means for you

Graduates who complete the required modules (40 credits minimum, including the Time Series core) will now also receive the IIF Certificate in Forecasting Practice, and gain the right to use the title:
"IIF Certified Forecaster"

How long do I have to complete the full MSc?

You have a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 3 years to complete the programme.

If in the event that I can’t complete the full MSc, yet have earned enough credits for the other certificates will they still be awarded?

You will be eligible to be awarded any certificates for which you meet the prerequisite module & credit requirements. Please see here for more details.

Is all examination undertaken online or in-person?

All modules are examined through online coursework submissions, you will have the support of your module lecturer/tutor in this proccess.
